Cotton Custom Homes remodeled our kitchen in March, 2016. We knew Bill personally, and received positive referrals from his customers. We had never renovated any part of our home before, and were anxious about the process, but Bill put our minds at ease, and he delivered. From the beginning, there was good communication from him and the project manager, Tim. The work was done on schedule. Best of all, it came out beautifully. Bill has excellent subcontractors, who arrived on time, did what they had promised, and cleaned up before they left. This was a full kitchen remodel: Bill’s team replaced the cabinets and countertops, painted, and added a tile backsplash that set the room apart. The next room we update in our 1988 home will be remodeled by Cotton Custom Homes.
My husband and I had never built a house before, but through good fortune, contacted Bill Cotton to build a custom multi-generational home to meet our dynamic long term needs. Because we had heard so many horror stories about the home building process, we were extremely cautious and skeptical. However, Bill, Tim and Anita have earned our trust and respect. Everyone throughout the project was responsive, honest, helpful and sincere. It truly felt like a collaborative process and that we were included as part of the team. Our new home is magnificent and has many basics that other builders consider upgrades (wainscoting, custom carpentry, energy efficient rating, etc).
The Cotton team managed the scheduling and various crews very well – most everyday someone was working on something at the job site with little idle time. “The thing that comes to mind is Integrity and painstaking devotion to quality workmanship. From the time I first met Bill while the house was still in mid production I knew that Bill’s committment to his customers was top rate. There are so many things that has helped make his vision our home from the orientation of the house to the detailed trim. Little things that help keep the house cool in summer and warm in winter like orientation so sun doesn’t come in, blown insulation, creative heating/cooling systems, placement of cutoff valves to the aesthetics from high vaulted ceilings, magnificent trim work, and a flowing design that is both efficient and eye pleasing.
